Do we need to hold a license with the platforms you offer?

Investing in multiple technology solutions can be a huge financial burden on any organization. With ebm, we made the investment so you don’t have to. This means you can access all of our technology platforms without having to hold a license of your own.

Can you perform platform demos for my clients?

You bet. Leave the technology discussion to the experts. We’ll just want to grab some details from you beforehand – you can kickoff the discovery process by filling out our contact form.

Who is responsible for platform implementation and maintenance?

We are. Our team of benefits technology experts performs initial configuration, renewal changes, and ongoing maintenance. That means that you can focus on the delivery of benefits without compromising your client relationships with a bad technology experience.

Platform Implementation

How involved should we expect to be in the implementation?

Our model is so successful because ebm functions as an extension of our partner’s organization. This means we manage every aspect of the implementation. From the initial kickoff call, through our milestones, training, quality assurance, and go live, you can expect our team of experts to be the quarterback during the entire process.

Can we transition to the platform mid-year?

Yes, we recommend implementing the system off-cycle rather than immediately before Open Enrollment. Current enrollments/benefit coverages can be imported into the system, including both employee and dependent elections and beneficiaries.

How long does the typical implementation take?

Implementation will vary based on platform and client complexity. We have milestones for each of our platforms, which ensure enough time is dedicated to rolling out a successful product.

We offer 4 different benefits administration platforms that have different pricing for different needs and budgets, but ultimately, you can expect to spend less than $5 PEPM (per employee per month) for a benefits technology solution through ebm – and that’s with some of our enhanced services included.

Service & Support

Will we have a designated account manager?

Each of our clients receive a dedicated Client Success Manager starting at implementation and continuing throughout ongoing account management in order to facilitate a seamless and cohesive service experience.

What type of support is available once our platform is implemented?

Throughout the duration of your relationship with ebm, you’ll have direct access to our client success team, who is available to assist with day-to-day needs, questions, platform training, and issue resolution. We’ve got your employees covered too – with tech support available via phone and email.

Is training provided?

Yes. We’ll equip you with all the training and resources necessary to set you up for success. This includes our initial training program at the time of implementation, as well as ongoing training as needed.

Carrier Relationships

Are we restricted to certain carriers with your platforms?

Never. We are carrier agnostic. Our model is to “stock the shelves” with the plans & carriers that you are already working with today, configuring the enrollment to reflect your organization’s unique benefits offering.

Do you have preferred carrier partnerships?

Yes. You can find a listing of our preferred carriers here.

What happens with the tech funding you receive?

Any tech funding we receive from a carrier is fully passed through to the Employer, directly offsetting the cost of their platform.
